An engineer.
A gardener.
Still listening.
I'm Neema. I trained as an engineer and worked on medical devices. I liked the discipline of trying to understand what was happening instead of settling for an explanation that sounded good.
Outside that work, I had other questions. I studied meditation, spirituality, and eventually the Akashic Records. I became a facilitator, sitting with people as they brought questions about relationships, grief, purpose, and what to do next.
Sometimes an answer moved someone so deeply they cried. And sometimes, a month later, they still hadn't done the thing they'd recognized.
I knew the pattern because I'd lived it. I had gone to teachers and practitioners wanting them to tell me something I could believe. Even when their words landed, I could find a reason to wait.
That made me uncomfortable with the role I'd been playing. I wanted to help people trust themselves, yet I was becoming another person they could return to for confirmation.
So I stopped offering readings and began working with groups in a different way. Instead of asking me to bring back the answer, they would go inward, ask their own questions, and learn to notice what happened.
The Akashic Gateway grew out of that change. You Already Know is my attempt to put the experience into words and give people practices they can take into their own lives.
I'm still an engineer in the way I question things, a gardener in the way I spend my days, and a student of experiences I can't neatly explain. I don't need you to adopt my beliefs. I'd rather you discover which parts are true in your own experience.
We are all walking each other home.
To me, being a witness means staying present without becoming the authority on someone else's life. I can listen, reflect a pattern, and ask a question they might not have asked themselves. What they do with it belongs to them.
If our work is doing what I hope it does, our conversations become less necessary over time.
